Local (Phoenix) media coverage of the events

I have been exceptionally impressed. I listen to talk radio while at work, and the morning host is there at the festivities (yesterday and today). I have been exceptionally impressed with the amount of executives and various levels of cast members that have been making the rounds. So far I have heard interviews ranging from 5-10 minutes with (don't remember names, only the positions) -

The official DL historical artist

The person in charge of all music throughout the park

An imagineer who did some of the work on the new Space Mountain effects

Flik the ant (in character - pretty funny stuff)

Some high level manager who is pretty muich in charge of the offical events of yesterday and today.

As well as others.

It's been pretty fun to listen to.

While I am envious of all of you who are able to attend, I know that it will be more crowded than I have ever experienced there, so I'm not too envious. Have fun, all.

Even our local morning radio news people were down there, although I now realize that they are the ABC radio affiliate so it's probably synergy.

And crowds be damned -- I might be wearing blue today but I'm totally GREEN with envy.

Coverage of this stuff in Orlando is spotty at best. I saw more footage of Disneyland from 1955 and more footage of the Disney tattoo guy than anything else on the evening news. We'll see what 11:00 brings.
