Spore Addict

Okay, you can now just call me Spore Addict or Sporadic from now on.

If you haven't seen me on here in a while, it's because of three words:

Spore
Galactic
Adventures

I was ALREADY addicted ENOUGH to the orginal game and now EA Games had to come out with this!

I bought my copy about a week ago. The BEST $30 I've ever spent! John has had to put up with me, but since I've been a SL Widow for quite some time now, he can now be a Spore Widow. I'm sure by now he's cringing each time I tell him to "Watch This!" as I create new playgrounds for my Spore Creatures to play in. Already I'm telling him, "but eating dinner would cut into my Spore Time."

I can see now why Disney creators or the people at Pixar have so much fun, only I get to do this on my own computer and I create whatever monsters, creatures or scenarios I wish....not some "Oh, I"m a poor hapless princess stuck in a castle and won't someone PLEASE come rescue me?" None of that for me!

I love creating the well-endowed creature, if you catch my drift, the one who loves to "shoot from the hip" and claw his way out of a fight and EA Games has equipped the user with tools to do just that and more.

I couldn't believe the slew of effects they've packed into this first extension pack. Ambient music, Stings and Visual Effects like Fireworks, Fireflies, Bees, Butterflies, Halos, Magic Fog, and Evil Fog just to name a few. This game ROCKS!

So, if you don't see me on here much, you'll know I'm Sporing!

I'm really glad to hear this. The Wife got me Spore for my birthday back in November, and I was a fiend for a couple of months, until I hit the wall at the galactic level and got tired of scrambling around the galaxy to cull diseased animals, protect my pink spice mines from pirates and endlessly terraforming planets to level 3. Totally burned me out. I'll have to snag the expansion pack, now, and see if I can recapture some of the early magic.
