Susan and I are huge fans of signs with missing/burnt out letters. Over the holidays, we captured (using a camera phone while driving past at 55 MPH - she took the pic while I was driving) a Self Storage place off the Hollywood Freeway. The caption was "So that's where Santa keeps them for the rest of the year!"

Rather tame, but it amused me none-the-less.

For those who haven't heard the news, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down this morning. I heard it on KNX 1070 (local news radio station) on my way into work at around 8:30 ish. Later, on the same station, they played an obviously taped report from Charles Osgood at around 8:50ish talking about "since Mobarack didn't step down, what will today be like in Egypt?"

Somebody at the station needs to be listening what is going out on the airwaves!

CBS Reporter Serene Branson Gets Tongue Tied After Grammys

ETA: Rumors are out that she may have suffered a stroke on air.

Not nearly as much of a fail if she had a stroke, but that could certainly explain it.

"Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning."
