This makes no sense. Republican Congressman Chris Lee was caught "cheating" (read the full article to see exactly what he did) on his wife with someone he found on Craigslist—but it wasn't with a man, it was with a woman!

Lee just resigned.

If he didn't resign for being caught as a hypocrite, he should have done so anyway for being caught as an idiot. How can a Congressman not know that anything posted on the internet is PUBLIC, and as a public figure - dot, dot dot?

There's something about the side by side photos of him as suited congressman and "takin' a pic of myself to pick up chicks" that just grosses me out.

I don't know why, since I'm not one to have a cow over this type of thing (anymore), but blech.

As always I don't care if they're having affairs, I don't consider marital fidelity to really be anything that necessarily impacts your appropriateness for public office.

However, when one does have an affair I do consider your inability to think about it enough to not be really stupid about it to be a sign that I can't trust you to not be really stupid in your thinking and acting in other areas.
