Wait, wait! What does "arts colony" mean? It sounds fun, but I'd worry that it would be like living in a religious cult full of piety and unpleasantness. "Have you made enough art today, neighbor? Didn't write your 1,000 words? Mind telling us why?" I'd also worry that there'd be too many people with that artsy serenity that you just want to hit with a skillet. I'd dip a toe in now again, but I'd be leery about permanent residence.

So I got my Federally required 60-day Lay-off notice today. Monday I interview with the new company - let's see if I get an offer or a big check. Now counting down to March 4.
