You would think, but it was sent to me with my full name (most of those types say something like "Dear Paypal user" or "attention card holder". And when I went to my account (directly- not clicking on a link), it has the same message. Yet everything still works fine...

The key question was, did they try to get you to click through a link in the email to sign in, or did you go directly to the site to follow up?

Yes, there was a link in the message, but I never click on them. But when I go directly to my account, the same message is there. Yet, there is no problem with my email at all. They even send me emails through that email address.
The irony is that they sent me an email that stated they can't use this email address to send me emails. And then when I send them an email trying to get it fixed, I get an email about how to change my email address.
