On second thought, I wonder if I'm mispronouncing his name. Do you say "Crumb" or "Kroom". I always thought it was a "crumb" sound, but maybe I'm just a dumb - to rhyme - American.

Hehe, yeah, I think you are going the dumb American route here. I always read it as rhyming with "room". I do have Eastern European roots, but who knows if I'm right.
