Try on a size larger next time you're in Nordstrom's, just to see. My larger ones are much more comfortable (it has nothing to do with the arch, but still...)

About 6 weeks ago my work dropped a dress code bombshell on me. No more jeans. So, over the past weeks I've been upgrading my wardrobe. The only thing left is shoes. I have one pair of the mary jane style Skechers that I like & I'll probably get another pair of those...and look for some comfy flats... Now, if only they had upgraded my paycheck to go with my upgraded wardrobe....

I never did update here.

I ended up with these -

and a pair similar to these (with a black, simpler strap and a slightly different pattern):

I'm happy. The first pair is just as comfy as advertised and is now my every-shoe for everything. I want a few more pairs

The second pair seemed very comfy at first but I've now realized they aren't for large amounts of walking. I still love them though.

I had remarkable good luck the past few days. I have such wide feet that shoe shopping is very depressing. I found 1 sandal that is comfie, is wide enough and comes in a 10 1/2, so I have every color it is made in. I ordered a dress frmo Torrid and decided to try a pair of shoes, they fit!! Both the dress and the shoes!! Today I had to take Nickolas shoe shopping. We went to Payless, and I ended up with 2 more pairs of shoes!! I am in shoe heaven!

I like those, too. If you right click and look at the properties, it says the pic comes from Sketchers. I could see myself wearing those, too.

Sketchers Bikers Step-Up, in Toffee.

There are so many different colors and designs for these - some with mesh and rhinestones and such.

The sandals were 30% off if I bought the first pair so I went for it.
