A food for thought tidbit:

Just saw at the Pad that AVP said that there are 120 Open teams, and only 27 Invitational teams. The Open sold out and the Invitational definitely did not.

Thinking now though, it makes sense, as there are plenty of less competitive teams out there. Plus, try to come up with as many team names as you can remember. Many of those opted for the Open, too. Twenty-seven is a lot.

Ooh so excited now, and jealous of my husband, who's carousing with some

birds at this very moment.

I'm still regretting not playing invitational but I keep telling myself the choice will be the good one, since I have two noobs on my team.
Can't scare them off if I want them to come back!

Though, if the men stay... the team name must change next time....

Tonight I saw the Lawyers briefly and on saying goodbye said "I wish you luck, but not as much luck as us."

Nope, no real bragging here. I'm sh!t scared of all this newness. We'll see what happens.

Though, I really shouldn't wish Disneyphile luck, I already gave her the lucky pen...
NA... well, it's been a goal of Cordae and I to beat the tall dark haired girl since before we met her....

Just make sure to set more than one alarm clock for tomorrow morning -- it's going to be an early call. I'm off to bed myself if I can make myself go to sleep....

Nope, you aren't. Never done one either and still don't have a complete grasp of what goes on.
