Happy New Year everyone!!

I did the family thing last night. Tim & I hung out with his family in San Jose. We put the kids down around 8pm and then played games, drank beer & watched movies. Fun times!!!

Great party. Just got back an hour or so ago. I wish I could remember some of the things that were said last night - I know there was at least one Gay Days-worthy quote.

We slept in later than we ever have - what, till 11?

And bacon was had.

Wonderful party. Plenty of bacon and I even slept rather well if not long enough despite kitty mayhem taking place just steps away from my sleeping bag. I loved sitting outside watching the fire and listening to fiery discussions. It was good to see everyone, including our friends within the computer screen. Many thanks to our swanky hosts!

10 (TEN) pounds of bacon were consumed. I'm tired and about to start on my annual archeology dig. Thurston is beyond spoiled now. We're down to 2 couples left besides Chris and I.
