I used to have a disco version of Stairway to Heaven and Whole Lotta Love. REAL disco: not just a remix: somebody re-recorded the songs as disco. Unfortunately, they have both disappeared and I have thus far been unable to locate anywhere.

What am I listening to right now?

A friend turned me on to a song that was a big hit last year. "Those Beautiful Girls" by Sean Kingston. I am no Hip Hop fan at all in any sense of the word. However the song strikes a chord with me since the song's melody is a sampling of "Stand By Me" This is exactly how The Drifters would sound if they were a Hip Hop group. The only difference is that it ends so abruptly as many of these similar songs do for Radio play. I get lost in the song and then the ending shakes me violently back to reality. That almost kills the attraction for me. I give it A fade out instead would give it a higher rating from me.
