Go Steph!
Woo hoo! She rocked! I loved the look on "Team Bobby Jon" when he lost! You know he was thinking..."I got beat by a freakin' girl!" He looked so smug..smiling when Jeff revealed the challenge! She kicked his booty! He was getting on my nerves anyway! And I think if Tom and Ian take Steph with them, they can be unstoppable!

Oh man, that was the WORST eating challenge yet. Bugs, rotten fish, blood, fine. But freaking half developed duck embyros!?!?! Yick.
Finally a REAL twist, the first time ever that there was no merge at 10 people. Makes me think they simply saw Solong get down to 2 people and thought, "Wouldn't it be awesome if we just kept 'em separate and they lost again?" I so wouldn't put it past Burnett to do that. Interesting little aside about Tom and Ian having a deal with Steph. Must have made it in that instant where there was just one tribe the first couple of days. Interesting to see where that leads. It made me root for Ulong to win immunity just to be sure Steph stuck around so it could play out. Tom and Ian are by far the most deserving on Koror, but they'd have HUGE targets on their back without some sort of sneaky backup plan, and it sounds like Steph my be the key.

Oh, but that final challenge between them was lame. Those torches were too close and too easy to light. It wasn't a fire building challenged, it was a "who's smart enough to build a pile of husks high enough to touch the torch. They might as well have just let them hold the match to the torch.

We said the same thing...That she was just smarter than he was..building her fire higher before lighting it...I just got a huge kick out of his obvious dissapointment...which probably didn't have anything to do with just losing the challenge... Hubby and I both said at the beginning that it would be interesting if it came down to one person and they had to be in total isolation..true survivor situation...I would totally be freaking out...even though she's not totally alone...she does have a camera man! And I agree with GD...I mentioned to Bailey that after the merge..Ian and Tom were sitting ducks! Unless they stick together...

I can't say that I'm upset or surprised that Coby got the ax. He was pretty stupid in how he handled himself.
What I am surprised at is how easy it was to lure everyone off of their perch in the immunity challenge. Folks, that was a lame display of perseverance if I ever saw one. These people need to wake up and realize that it would be a really good idea to vote Tom off as soon as possible. The guy is just way too much of a threat. I'd love to see Steph take the whole thing. |

Ooooh, so glad that whiny little bitch is gone. Geeeez, he totally comitted suicide. I mean, I'm sure some of it was editing, but did he seriously think the strategy of, "It's a pivotal turning point in the game, so I'm going to complain, get pissy when I don't get my way, and blab about tribe drama to Jeff," was going to get him anywhere?
I was surprised at Steph jumping in. Everyone else, they're idiots, and they're soft from never losing immunity. Steph? I mean, I guess she could tell that there was no way she was going and that she was way too valuable as an extra vote, but man, I would never be able to live with myself if I gave up immunity and got voted off.

I, too, was amazed that these people jumped it so quickly! Didn't they just have a big meal cooked for them, with Rum, the night before? It's not like this tribe is starving totally...They've won nearly every reward challenge and lots of fish to eat....I know it's not cookies and pizza...but come on!!! There's a MUCH stronger alliance going on than we see...They all voted for Coby..allthough he totally deserved it!
I can't blame Steph too much...she hasn't had a decent meal in weeks...but she didnt' play it smart! It wasn't a done deal! And what was with Janu's face after the vote...did she really not know that Coby was going out?

Of course she didn't, she was asleep the whole freaking time! And she voted for Steph. It's like she slept all day, figured, "We're voting for the new chick right?" and didn't talk to anyone. She's so worthless.

Yeah, Coby slit his own throat. Grabbing Steph in plain sight of the other women, having a "moment" with Tom over the bait... He was deluded til the end. During the tribal council, he said that the game was a popularity contest, yet in his "final words" he was saying "you voted me off because I was a strong competitor." You got it right the first time, buddy.
As far as Steph jumping, I think it was a clever move. She knows that Tom is the strongest player and I don't believe she was ready to move that target onto her back. Go Steph!

It looks to me like they are all afraid of Tom.
Option #1: I can stand here for hours getting tempted by food until my legs quiver and I pass out from exhaustion while Tom smiles at me and wins immunity or Option #2: I can dive off this stupid pole have some yummy food while Tom smiles at me and wins immunity. From that point of view why not jump in? Just don't be first. As for Steph: First off I think she was REALLY hungry. No fish, no clam. Ya gotta eat. Also I think she is better off being less of a threat. If she did beat Tom would that really be a good move for her? I don't think so. As for Tom: I still think everyone better vote him off the first chance they get or else.
