Happy Birthday Thurston Howl!
One year ago today, somewhere in Kansas, a mommy pug has a littler of 5 pug puppies:
 That one looking earnestly at the camera is Thurston. Thurston came to live in Manhattan Beach with his sisters until one day Chris and I got frustrated with our attempts to rescue a pug and went to look at the place where our first pug love, Gus, came from. Three little pug puppies greeted us when we arrived and one special little boy looked straight at me with his wrinkly face and I was in love.  We decided to name him Thurston Howl (Chris' idea) and I'm happy to say our lives have not been the same since. Thurston, you bring so much joy to our lives. Every day is an adventure in new ways to love a dog. We are very lucky to have you - even when you're bad. Fortunately, that's not very often. I look forward to spending many long years with you going on lots of adventures. You're a very special boy. Happy Birthday Thurston Howl!  |
