Yes it does! Driving me crazy as we speak! If Bailey NEVER cut his hair again, he'd be the happiest boy in the world!

We did make "Shaggy Roo" cut it before baseball started...but he hasn't had a haircut since...

I have a friend who was a fashion designer for BCBG and is currently an instructor at Otis Parsons, and he follows trends the way actors follow L. Ron Hubbard. He and I both concur: now is the most wonderful time in recent fashion history because ANYTHING GOES. Conservative Banana Republic can walk alongside 70s glam and slacker khaki Gap and no one bats an eyelash.

I, for one, am secretly pleased that I am theoretically back in fashion, even if only by accident. (I basically look and dress the same as I did in the 70s, and now appear as some sort of lost Flying Dutchman ghost warning sign to ne'er do well teens, who after seeing me reevaluate their lives and immediately enroll in summer school.)

Still, it all comes down to this: people are funny looking creatures and will spend any amount of money to overcompensate for this sad and inescapable fact.

This is very well put, funny and true.

But this doesn't have to cost Radcliffe a pretty penny, though he has millions and millions and millions of them, most of them probably very shiny. Some barbers only charge $5-10. Just a little off the ends, please. Do it for me, Daniel. Do it for Disneyland!

As for the fashion mish-mash, I also think it's pretty cool, though I tend to be more A-line monotany than funky bangles and mixing things up. I don’t like to stick out. I like to be able to creep up on people or blend into the wallpaper. In L.A., the way I dress, this is easy enough to do. However, a visit to rural New Jersey proves that I can still mange to stick out like a vulnerable and exposed nude thumb.

Los Angeles also seems to be the only city where women misunderstand that an entire outfit purchased at Urban Outfitters only belongs on a 15 year old girl. It’s also a city where young people spend excessive amounts of their allowance money to look like a squatter.

Whatever, so long as they're clothed, for without clothes we might as well admit we're no better looking than hairless moles.

Oh, yes! This reminds me of once when I drove down La Brea. At the Sunset corner, I came upon a twentysomething man who rendered me dumb for a moment. I could not take my eyes off of him. This was not, unfortunately, because he was especially good-looking. I simply could not figure out whether he was homeless or a rock star. What with the rumpled-up hair, and the shotty shoes, and the sweat pants cut off at the knees, and mismatched socks pulled up as far as they could go, I just wasn't sure whether he was going to squeegie my windshield or break into a riff on Stairway to Heaven.

Awww! Don't burst my bubble! I swear, it's only because I didn't have the money for the clothes at 15! I think I'm entitled to a late-20s fashion crisis.

Oh, stop it! You HAVE the body of a 15 year old girl, and are young and vibrant!

Besides, I was mostly speaking about myself, who goes there to try on clothes, and leaves a sobbing wreck when not even their size 11 pants fit me! And those pants are adorable, but why must the waists be so low, and the thigh-but area be so TINY even though it SAYS size 9 or 11. BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Why?

Because they are really designed for teenagers. And not 28-year old gravity inflicted, sugary bread product filled bodies. Unless your a 28 + year old with YOUR figure.

God, I hate you.

Heh. I thought that my post would be met with jabs at my fashion sense, not flattery about my figure.

Although the hatred works. Me, I love you and your body AND the new shag styles. Too bad my husband could never grow his hair long. He'd end up with a 'fro.

What? No Malfoy? I wonder if his hair will be long or short this time... Daniel Radcliffe for sure needs a haircut though.

Okay, saw a trailer from the GOF, and those Weasley twins just keep getting cuter.... One would have never guessed from the first movie that they would turn out so well.
