The reports I'm reading show rain early Saturday, and then on Monday, but not Sunday.

Of course, best case scenario is the reports threaten rain, it's a overcast misty morning, people stay away, and it doesn't rain.

Alas, I think we're out on the swanking this year. Way too much to do - and it's our last weekend day before we fly back to Michigan. Where the **** did this year go?

Ken and I are out too. We still don't have our place decorated, and I have gifts to bake/make, plus I'm trying to wrap out the final bits of contracted work so I can get paid.

I really just want to kick back the whole week of Christmas to NYE, so I need to get stuff done so I can do that.

We'll be there all day, with dinner at Jazz Kitchen being the only thing on the agenda.

We're planning to go tomorrow. We have lunch reservations at the Blue Bayou and I'll be sporting my birthday button. Yay! We also have some shopping to do. We'd still like to meet up with folks if they're going, or we'll just go it alone.
