I was standing next to the Washington Monument. From that location you can see the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial and White House. It was a great spot to see all the people which was my primary goal for the day.

After the motorcade started I'll admit I was glued to the TV. I watched the whole thing -- every last marching band! It was nice to see the crew of STS 126 at the end! I switched to CSPAN because CNN was driving me crazy with the non-stop chatter. CSPAN was excellent! In about an hour the ball coverage begins, so I'm taking a break from the TV to see if I can get a little work done LOL.
