So on the news today they were discussing the quake clusters that have been happening in the IE.

They reported there was "between a 1-in-100 and a 1-in-20 chance" of a major quake in the next few days.

Never seen them give numbers even that specific before, but it's still a very low probability.

This is not the news I wanted to hear just before I come down there! I remember there being at least two earthquakes when we there 4-5 years ago. I didn't really enjoy them!

What is the IE?

It's a bit confusing when we're down there and hear that term used. (Usually during the weather report). We're the heart of the Inland Empire up here as well.

Which is no longer an accurate moniker as half of the IE is now the 951 area code.
