I can't breathe. A community theatre here is going to do 'Rent' early next year. I'm going to audition for Mark. I have never wanted anything more in my life. I must get this part! So e x c i t e d!

Bought tickets last night to see the Animal Collective at the Wiltern next Friday. Paid a bit of a premium as the show's been sold out for a while and the tickets came from the secondary market, but they weren't marked up too much and it beats driving to Tuscon on a Sunday, the other option we might have had to see them.

That also happens to be the day I'll be participating in a career day at my old high school. A chance to see teachers I haven't seen in a decade and hang out with friends.

All on a vacation day from work.

Is it next Friday yet?
