Brilliant extension of the sidewalk work we've seen done in recent years. I'm surprised, though, at all the effort to put these on outdoor walls. Once wear and tear sets in, the illusions will be severely compromised.

But they're fantastic when new.

I've seen murals around L.A. that have been up for 20 or 30 years and seem to be just fine. I'd like to have one on the back of my store, right now it's an ugly blank wall in an ugly little asphalt parking lot.

Funny, most of the murals I see around have noticable damage. Not that destroys the art, but that would destroy an illlusion of reality ... to me at least.
