We recently had to trim Ally's nails and it took three of us. Two dedicated to holding her and the third to hold and trim. And even then, it was a challenge.

Had a very positive interview for W C Penfold Stationers in the city for a customer service role. I'll know in a week if they want me for the second stage - an interview with the Director of the company !! (eek)

Stoat and I also passed our provisional riding tests on the scooter and in 12 months will have full-fledged unrestricted bike licences. Yay !

I'm so happy I had to have a spoonful of Marmalade. (yes, I know...)

I fell in love with a high concept pet boutique that is located in downtown LA and approached them maybe 9 months ago about opening a Long Beach location. The lease was signed yesterday, the keys are ours tomorrow, the built-out starts immediately and our opening date is October 1. I'm so excited I could scream but I'm also scared shytless. Change is good but man is it scary! But, this combines all of my loves into one great package. So, it's back to work full time for me (and Thurston gets to come to work too!). That's not the worst of it! I'm lucky because I'm over (ahem) 25.

Under 25, you need to spend 3 months on the L (Learner) plates, 12 months on the P1 (Red Provisional) plates, and 24 months on the P2 (Green Provisional) plates !!

Does the USA have L and P plates ?
