Overnight Stay at the Haunted Mansion

I'd love to do it, but I wonder if the stretch room will be in the Up or Down position? If up, then not too thrilling, if down, then I wonder how far through the loading area you can roam?

One day they'll do a contest to win a walk-through of the mansion, and see how quickly I get over there then !!!

I'm almost glad I can't enter. It would be so nervewracking.

As you might imagine, spending the night inside the Haunted Mansion would be, well, dream come true is too weak a phrase.

Also, as you might imagine, if anyone could find a way out of the chamber with no windows and no doors to explore the Haunted Mansion alone in the middle of darkest night .... it would be ME.

I'd assume they have to provide a restroom all night long....which would mean they have to leave a door open, to somewhere. The thought of an Andy Gump sitting in the foyer is rather horrifying, but it's all I can think of.

Another thought is that a basic safety rule with elevators is that when they aren't in use they should be at their bottom level. Hmm.

Though I wasn't involved in Disneyana then, it was only a year or so after 1999 that I heard about the dinner held in the Mansion to celebrate it's 30th anniversary and was able to wish I had been there. I've been an APer for nearly 10 years now!

The Haunted Mansion has been known to scare the sh!t out of little kids, but I don't see how that will help just now.
