Don't mean to rain on your parade Steph but I have to say...as a person who loves most musicals but has never seen Rent before, this trailer didn't grab me at all. I'm sure it'll be an event for fans of the show but I'm not so sure they'll get others in the theaters.

Same was true of Phantom, I'm sure.

I saw the trailer and am hopeful. I don't think the production looks as gritty as it should, but I'm hoping it will be good. I'm going to see it without a doubt, though.
