Um, I love me some bacon ... and I want nothing to do with that bacon-mash sausage. I almost yammied just looking at the photo of it.

Lack of bacony goodness will be the downfall of the supposed bacon sandwich with chicken bread otherwise known as the Double Down. Note to self: If a fast food item does not have bacon in the name (e.g., Bacon Double Cheeseburger), do not expect the inclusion of bacon to impart the proper bacony goodness.

Avocado & Bacon Sandwich

Mix:
1 T mayonnaise
1 t fresh chives, chopped
1 t fresh dill, chopped
1/4 t fresh lemon juice

and spread in on:
2 slices whole grain bread, toasted

Top with:
3 slices bacon, crispy and delicious
1/2 avocado, sliced lengthwise
some radish sprouts

Makes one sandwich, just for you.
