You were right the first time. It is a nautically influenced name. The HTH stands for Herburt Tinklethon Hiickupman. He was one of the truly great bellhops in England's Royal Navy. I try to pattern my life after him.

Not Afraid did call last night, but it was very loud in my house last night, so we didn't hear the phone ring. It was a very successful party.

Not true. A couple people (including me) heard the phone ring. Had I been able to get to it in time, I might've recognized NA's number on the call ID and answered (generally, tho, I don't make a habit of answering other people's phones). But, alas, I was too drunk to get that far that fast.
