What Is the Grilled Cheese Invitational?
Every year, mankind comes together to shake off the weight of the world, rub some cheddar rind on their knuckles and powder up a spatula to separate the curds from the whey, the lactose from the intolerant and the "Don't Stop" from the "Believin'."

The 2nd 8th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational is happening on April 23rd, 2011 and it represents your best chance at Bread, Butter, Cheese and Victory!

This year's event has more vendors, more entertainment, and of course, MORE CHEESE!

FOOD... and CHEESE!
The awesome people at Tillamook Cheese will be returning as our Exclusive Cheese Sponsor and will be providing thousands of grilled cheese samples to all attendees.

Plus we have free samples from Boulder Canyon potato chips, Kruegermann Pickles, Izze Sparking beverages, Fuze beverages and each attendee gets a bottle of water with their admission price!

MMMMM... BEER (and wine)
Still thirsty? Well, if you like either beer or wine, the event has a magnificent Beer & Wine Garden with New Belgium Brewing, Lagunitas Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing, Stone Brewing, Widmer Brewing, Barefoot Wines and Oreana Wines all on hand. The Beer and Wine Garden is a fundraiser for the West Hollywood Library Fund, a non-profit organization helping to build a new public library and community space for the City of West Hollywood! And to think they said that drinking doesn't make one smarter, hah!

The GCI will also have a LIVE MARCHING BAND! That's right, March Fourth Marching Band are driving their weird selves all the way down from Portland, Oregon to come and rock us to pieces with their massive, musical, marching riffs!

It's too late for me to find out how to participate in this year's cheese-off, but it looks like something I'd like to attend. It's a ticketed event, though? Anyone else not in the desert want to go?
