Did I tell you this one before? I forget.

So, I went to Target and asked at the electronics section for a tape recorder.

*Blank stare from young clerk.* Then a medium-length discussion with me about why I wanted a tape recorder.

"I just want a voice recorder," I said. "It does not have to have tape. I don't care if it has tape. It's like saying record when I mean cd, okay?"

By this time, the clerk was convinced I needed big buttons and big letterson the voice recorder screen because, of course, I am an old person using old-person words like tape recorder.
