I aggree on that one. Along with addy for address.

What I don't like are words or phrases spoken as real, when it just shows lack of intelligence by the person spewing them out their mouth hole. For example:

-Irregardless

-I could care less

I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Irregardless and I could care less don't bother me. I use the latter because I mean it ironically and it annoys some people.

In a case like that, however, it wouldn't annoy me at all. I would find it rather humorous.

I've never understood "sammy" as shorthand for sandwich. Shouldn't it be "sandy"? (Or, you know, sandwich. Who needs shorthand?)

I hate it when people pronounce "nuclear" as "nu-kyu-ler."
