				Camera Advice?
Photographers of Lot (Yes Matt you!): Headliner is heavy into journalism and writing for the school paper. She has asked Santa for a "good camera" to use. I Skyped with the north poll and Santa has advised he'd be happy to bring her a camera. Any suggestions on a complete (but accepting of new lenses and such..) rig for her that comes in below $500?

				            | You might check CraigsList - my hubby got a used Nikon DSLR plus a lens for $250 (which was a killer price). You're able to spend a bit more, and you could probably get something pretty nice. I shoot Nikon, too, a D5000 (5100 replaced it if you buy new). D70 and D200 are pretty good models, as well. The discussion of Nikon vs Canon comes down to which menus you like, and which one feels good in the hand. I hope Headliner enjoys her new camera!
