hmmm. I'm an Apple guy, but my most recent mp3 player purchase was an iRiver 799. I still have my big 'ol HD iPod with thousands of songs, but the recording capabilities of the iRiver (as well as the fact that there's a screen) made it a hands-down easy choice over an iPod shuffle. The nano? Cute. But my next iPod will be the video iPod. Jobs says this one isn't in the works... but you all know it is.
