Audrey Tautou has been chose to star alongside Tom Hanks in the film production of The Da Vinci Code, according to the AP.

I think she is a good cast for that part. I'm still not totally sold on Tom Hanks. I love him and all, but not quite sure he's Langdon material. Oh well, I'll deal!

I like Tom as well, and I know he'll probably end up owning this role, but right now I don't see it.

Ms. Tautou is definitely a good choice for Sofie. I'm also not quite sold on Hanks yet, but we'll see.

The casting I'm curiously anticipating is Silas. Could be interesting.

I would love for Silas to be played by Peter Stormare. He was the nut shoving Steve Buscemi in the woodchipper at the end of Fargo....but he's so much more than that. If you've seen Dancer in the Dark and Chocolat....he was memorable. He could play someone who is violent, but show the intense passion and deep belief in his cause......

I have just started reading the book, I cant wait to see what all the fuxx is about. I did read Angels and Demons and I loved that one.
