I asked about the passholder entrance to DCA and they said they were just trying something new. My thoughts is a comparison to see the numbers of passholders vs. day-trippers. Interesting...
![]() The sound in BTMRR was quite startling! It sounded like a huge bear and I thought one was about to jump onto the train!! Yikes! ![]() A few of my favorites were Wyland's, Fess Parker's, Lobsta(but it was freaky), and Dave Koz's ![]() On a sad note, I heard a small DL goer comment that a lot of rides were closed(Sunday morning). He was about 7 or 8 walking from AL to FL and I was walking the other way. As I turned the corner, Indy was down. I'm sure it was a momentary thing, but bad timing.

The computer system would already count numbers of APers vs. day guests. More likely, it's an experiment in keeping the entrance lines short for day guests, setting up the APer lines during those after-work evening rushes.
We rode Big Thunder again, this time in the back. It appears that the sound is supposed to be the creaking and groaning of the wooden supports in that first little room, and the squeaking of swaying lanterns. Zapppop seems to think it might have always been there, but has just had the volume turned way up. Could be. Either way, it sounds more like some sort of beast, and is really noticeable from the trail.

![]() We noticed that sound while we were hanging out talking history with old skool DL employee, Bob. It is quite distrubing when you know all of the noises then that thing happens. Quite shocking the first time. |
