Of RSS Java and Cell Phones...

My three year old clunker cell phone finally died (ok I dropped it....). So I have upgraded myself to a swanky new phone that supports among other things, Java applets.

So it got me thinking... RSS on my cell phone, hummm I could have LoT wherever I roam (plus a few work related sites but that's irrelevant...)

Now when I need to reply to Scaeagles latest missive, or GD's next attempt at a put-down (keep trying...) I'll know it in real time no matter where I am.

Err, umm, oh wait..... On second thought perhaps I can get my old "just a phone" fixed. Yeah, that might be a better option for my overall state of mind...

Beyond that, sometime soon I hope to install an upgrade that will make the board itself viewable via cell phone browser. For the time being, it's in beta and the guy developing it is still working out some bugs so it's not ready for primetime. But stay tuned.
