Strangers with Candy has gotten good buzz after the Sundance viewing:

Not surprisingly the funniest film I saw, the cult TV show translates well to the big screen. The language is looser, the comedy is more adult and the additions of big name actors such as Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker fit seamlessly.
