The Hubster will be out of work this summer and I thought we could drive around place to place putting in resumes but then I thought, hey, why not hit the road with a band and do it that way? Much more fun!

Okay, I can not lie, I thought of doing it by myself but then I thought why not take him and the boy?

Of course, it probably will never happen. But, has anyone ever done this? Instead of the 'backpacking across Europe' deal?

And, no, before you ask yourself this question, I am not crazy. Well, not diagnosed.

So, anyone have any tips? Any stories? Have you ever just picked up a bag and hit the road for something?

I think I am getting the summertime 'I Want To Get Away, I Want To Fly Away' itch a bit early this year....
