Midnight Snack Time

It's 11:34 and I'm just getting around to dinner.

I'm having cheese empanadas and a mug of Teavana peach oolong tea.

What's your midnight snack? (Or breakfast, lunch, blinner, or whatever odd meal you may be eating right now.)

In about an hour it will be chicken and three cheese casserole.

I just had a lean sirloin burger topped with mushrooms sauteed in garlic over herb greens.

I had the same last night. Cooking for one is difficult!

It looks like I will be having chicken for the next 4 nights.

The cheese empanadas (Goya brand) sound good in theory--flaky dough around cheese--but I cannot recommend them. The filling tastes like Velveeta, which I do not have a love for. And as yummy as fried food can be, I'm not such a fan of putting frozen food (which sometimes has icy bits on it) into hot oil. It burned my foot a bit.

I fried a twinkie and topped it with a melted Hershey's Special Dark bar - yes, it was that bad of a day...

My tea's gone cold and it's a little bitter (I let it steep too long). But it's still good and I'll finish it before going to bed.

I'm really trying not to eat late but I'm having a craving for some martini olives (sans the martini). I think I should go to bed, because if I eat them I'll be a balloon tomorrow.
