One of the biggest contributors to the world of animation and comics passed away. His contributions is massive and is a major loss to the world.

Wow, I loved most of that Hanna Barbera stuff. In fact, a friend of mine owns the complete library of Hanna Barbera sound effects and we were just listening to a bunch of stuff from space ghost the other day.

Sad loss.

We were talking about it all weekend -- hubby decided that he'd like to go out the same way: at the drawing table, doing what he loved. He had a wonderful, long career, and lived to a good old age. He'll sure be remembered!

I dug the hanna-barbera stuff, but really loved his comic work - what an illustrator. The nice thing about being an artist is that he gets to live forever.
