It was somewhat fun, I admit. Gorgeous imagery (GC, the 9/11 and Holocaust imagery makes it fun for me - I love shocking action). But it was meant seriously, a very serious metaphor, and at the most serious moments I was shaking my head at the attempted seriousness. I'd like to see school librarians get full-time (without requiring pointless degrees and certifications) because I'm really bumming about leaving here.
