OMG, this thread is hilarious! I totally remember reading GC's dream ages ago. And I remember the day FEJ decided to avoid us and text message NA about what we were wearing. We were hanging out near the castle to watch the new Princess Parade! Hey, wait a second....


Damn, I thought the pic showed NA text messaging, but oh well, close enough. This is definitely the right day though. Can you believe it's nearly 2 years ago??

I awoke this morning convinced that I hadn't slept a wink and then I began to recall in reverse order, my swanky dreams.

I was staying in a swanky culinary school, but something sponsored by a soup Company. I was woken by HTH BellCaptain telling me eveerything was "good to the last drop" but he left before he could here my witty retort which long since vanished into the dream world.

My room was very posh, contemporary mahogany giving a new world take on old school elegance. On my night stand was the remains of last night's meal, some sort of super rich wild mushroom concoction in a Sherry cream reduction. I could still tast it as I awoke.

Earlier that day (night?) I had been in a cooking competition and Zapppop and InnerSpaceman were on my team. we had to make an entree from a limited set of ingrediants and present the best one. We had come up with some sort of Sweetpotato gellato. While agreeing that it was the best, we exchanged jokes about making simulated tofu deserts. We seemed to think this funny in the dream world.

But prior to landing in this culinary school - I was in some other resort, less posh but full of late night partying. Everyone was supposed to be sleeping, but we were wandering the resort, checking in at the bars and lounges chatting and flirting with everyone there. I recall thinking that I needed to sleep and went back to my room, only to be walked in on by 4 strangers who had met my friends at another lounge, and thought I should party with them.

Throughout these dreams, I recall thinking that I needed to get some sleep but never getting any. I woke tired and full from my sleep hedonism.

I have had more dreams that I care to admit where €uroMeinke is a professor /teacher sort of role. Why? I dont know. Prob because every time I see him , he does the least talking of anyone around.
Oddly enough that he mentioned a cooking sort of school... I know he's been a pastry instructor... and he once assigned a 200 page essay on formulas and pivot tables.

Hmm.. otehr than that... I have had dreams where I see the group as a whole, but its all very similar to what I have already seen in reality. I've eaten in some odd restauraunts with this group in my dreams.

I once dreamed that I was in Disneyland on Main Street, and the Beatles were playing at Town Square. Flippyshark was the drummer.

Now, while many people play air guitar when listening to rock music, it so happens that Flippyshark has a tendency to air drum. Of course, I didn't know that when I had the dream. *cue Twilight Zone music*

A ha! Reading this thread made me think of the Disneyland dream I had last night. (I have them way too often, I'm a wannabe psychopath.)


Okay, Disney decided to create something they called DisneyMall. In the world in my dreams, Disneyland and all the theme parks closed. The new idea that the company had was to build malls across the country (5 stories or so) which contained dark rides on each floor. So the first floor was the Main Street USA floor, the second was Adventureland floor, third Frontierland floor, fourth Fantasyland floor and Tomorrowland was the top floor. Tomorrowland floor was pretty cool. It gave you access to the roof at night where you could ride Space Mountain which was set in a see thru glass dome. Each ride was separated by a shop.
Anyway, LoT/MC was having a meet and a bunch of us were there. Except no one looked like they really do. It was as if someone cast a movie version of the boards. The gist of the story was that we were trying to coordinate which ride we did when... but noone was where they were supposed to be. Some examples of where people were: Isaac was taking pictures of the newly constructed food court, Steve was riding Adventure Thru Innerspace, Lisa was in the CD store and Claire was shopping for shoes with the cast of the Crazy Moms Lounge on MC etc.


That's pretty much it, I don't remember much else.

I never have swanky dreams. I usually have "action movie" dreams, with myself as the intrepid heroine who is constantly pursued by evil-doers, yet escapes at the last minute. And I don't even like action movies. Maybe because I watch them in my head so often.

I spoke too soon. Last night I dreamt I had tea with Queen Elizabeth II. True, none of you were in it. But if having tea with the Queen (she was very gracious) doesn't qualify as swanky, then I don't know what does.

Even if her tea snacks included garlic mashed potatoes.
