Tammy Faye: "The doctors have stopped trying to treat [my] cancer"

I have mixed feelings about Tammy Faye. I despised what she and her ex husband Jim Bakker did as televangelists, but I have come to respect—if not admire—the person she has become after leaving that situation.

I will say I was saddened to hear she posted this on her blog* yesterday:

I heard on the news that she previously had colon cancer and thought it was cured, but now it seems to have spread to her lungs. And for what it's worth, Wikipedia corroborates that.
