I finished The Reader by Bernard Schlink (translated from German). I had gotten it back when it was an Oprah pick but never read it. It was a good read. Interesting issues to mull over.

I liked the LA Times quote on the cover, "A formally beautiful, disturbing and finally morally devastating novel."
