My veggies are sprouting!
Right on cue I spotted this morning a sprout in the basil patch, and several in the lettuce. Hopefully more basil should be appearing in short order, with the parsley and carrots a few days behind. Yay! I get so nervous when I start from seeds. I could have spent all that time turning, fertilizing, sowing, watering, and just stared at dirt for weeks with nothing ever sprouting. Now I know something will grow.
