It makes crazy
Just out of my mind
I think of divorce
nearly every time

I never recognize it
Until it's all done
Then I look back
and think - Oh my - what fun!

My poor family I'm afraid
Gets more than their share
Of Mom going crazy
Several times a year

So my friends I must tell you
That other poem that I wrote
The once where my huband
was a bit more than a goat

Well, I regret writing it
But it sure felt true at the time
The world just sucked
And nothing was fine

And now - things are great
There'll be no divorce
Unless my husband begins acting
like an ass... then of course.





note: I'm not a depressed crazy woman every month - just once or twice a year apparently. You'd think I'd recognize it by now but apparently not.
