we had one ages ago that would actually go completely limp (in a non-violent protest I think) to where you spent more time keeping her head out of the water than bathing, whereas her sister would screech uncontrollably until released.

we gave up cat bathing after that...followed by giving up on cats altogether a few years later.

dogs for me, thanks. at least you can just chase them around the yard with a garden hose if they get too gross.
