The first monorail leaves DTD 5 to 10 min before the gates open. It then waits at the Tomorrowland station until the gates open. Giving it's riders direct access to nemo while the mobs rush all the way down main street. That's how it works if all goes to plan. If the monorail gets delayed for technical or other reasons then you can sit and sit while the unwashed mobs descend on Nemo. Also on busy days it is possible that the monorail will be reserved for hotel guests only with no prior warning. On the other hand, if you go for the gate, at worst you have one monorail load in front of you with just a few hundred guests tops. |
