I still maintain that a Y'er asking an XY'er about the subject of looks and/or weight will typically get in reply whatever is perceived to be the expected answer. If that happens to also be the empirical truth so much the better but you are still going to get the expected answer in a plurality of cases. In short, I was generalizing about this issue while also taking the opportunity to put a little shot across Ally's bow just for the fun of it. She can spank me later for it if she wants to.
