Drat. The 890 has an RF to IR feature that in theory could allow you to use two identical components in the same system.

Oh and don't drop it. They do not take well to that. Plus be sure to keep the contacts on the remote and the base clean. If your remote suddenly dies that's the first thing to check (unless of course you just dropped it).
