What disturbs me more than anything...

Can't anyone spell anymore?

"Several surveillance cameras on a building captured the accident as the truck came barreling down the street, obviously out of control after loosing its brakes."

No, it's not "loosing" its brakes. It is "losing" its brakes. Just one common spelling error that really bugs me. I don't expect everyone in the world to spell perfectly but I do expect it from an online news source like NBC.

edited to correct stupid spelling error. Grrr.
