Another successful movie night. Smaller crowd than usual - six people made for a cozy gathering. We decided early on to postpone Wild At Heart for a later date - perhaps for a Lynch marathon or a double feature with The Wizard of Oz. We snacked, chatted, used the word "mélange" quite a bit, and watched some trailers and musical bits (Amy Winehouse and a subtitled(!) "Strawberry Chips") before the feature.

I'll leave it for the others to describe Perdita Durango, I'll just say that fans of Javier Bardem in No Country should see him in this.

At about midnight, I decided to watch Atonement - it was the last Best Picture nominee for me to see (btw, it's out already on DVD in the UK - get it now at Amoeba - or not), but that's for a different thread.

At the moment, it looks like the next movie night will be on March 8 - watch this thread for details.
