Well, everybody I knew in Washington growing up used boobs much more preferentially than tits (and ass would also be used over butt). And I've never heard Lani say tits on her own and she comes to American vocabulary via British schools and Hawaii.

But yeah, I'm sure that as with all over vocabulary choices there are regional variations.
