Schmap

I've recently been introduced to kind of an interesting travel guide site called Schmap.

They've got services. There's the online browsable travel guide with points of interest, restaurants, tours, etc. with photos. Then you can download an individual city's guide as a standalone application, so you can access the information even when not online. And the 3rd function, which seems kinda neat though I haven't played with it, is the ability to create your own guide. You define the points of interest, add photos and descriptions, and Schmap compiles it all into a standalone guide using their layout. Pretty nifty.

So they get all of their photos for the online and downloadable guides from Flickr. And it just so happens that they decided to use one of my photos of the Gamble House from the Pasadena swanking.

If you click this link it should bring you to the guide and a thumbnail of my photo will be at the top of the column on the right that has the details of the Gamble House. Click on it and it takes you to my Flickr page.

Makes me want to put more stuff on Flickr for them to find.
